This is my little patch I have tried to carve out to be creative, to share thoughts, stories, musings in an effort to reconnect with creativity and nature. I have studied environmental science for most of my adult life, but understanding nature is more than books, and studies. It's something which must be felt and lived in, not adjacent to.

Wendell Berry inspired the name of this page - His Peace of the wild things poem. I chose to keep just "peace of wild" because (1) his words remind me of where peace can be found, (2) this site is my own, and (3) spoken aloud it can be mistaken for "piece of wild" - and the words and images manifested here are my pieces of the wild arranged haphazardly falling onto the page as they appear in my mind.
